Blue Sapphire (Blue Sapphire ) is also a valuable and quick-impact rattan, its lord is Saturn. Like Manikya, Blue Sapphire is also the rattan of the Kundan group. The red rattan of this group is called Manikya and all other gems are called Blue Sapphire, such as White Sapphire, Green Sapphire, and Purple Sapphire etc. But especially gems of sky, bright, dark blue, velvet blue etc. are called sapphires. It has different names in different languages. In Sanskrit it is known, Indranil Mani, Trishgrahi in Hindi as Neelam and in English as Blue Sapphire. The history of Blue Sapphire is quite old. According to religious texts, Blue Sapphire was born from the eyes of Datya Rajbali. There are two types of sapphires mentioned in Indian texts – first Jalnil and second Indranil. When the white inside the small sapphire is white, it is called water indigo. Whereas the bluish half-blown blue sapphire is called Indranil. In fact, it is a mixture of blue and red i.e. purple.
